Friday night, Caroline and I joined some of my Girl Scouts and Mom's for the Girl Scout Sleepover at the Dell Diamond!
We attended in July of 2016 and was thankful they moved the sleepover to May this year as the weather was much cooler!
The Dell Diamond staff really do an amazing job at hosting the sleepovers! The cost is reasonable at $30 or so per person. The ticket allows you entry into the Round Rock Express game. After the game, they shot off fireworks for 5 minutes. Fireworks are always a crowd-pleaser! Once the non-sleepover patrons left, we were able to bring in our sleeping bags, etc to stay the night. We had the entire outfield at our disposal to sleep on! The staff opened up the swimming pool and Fun Zone for the girls to play on. They provided us pizza and drinks for a late-night dinner and coffee and doughnuts for breakfast. A movie played on the big screen and lights went off at 2AM! Wake up was around 6AM. Whew!
I highly recommend this Scouting sleepover and plan on attending again for several more years!
